Imagine your heart pounding against your chest. The wind is whipping against your cheeks. With that last breath, you exhale quickly. You are jumping out of your seat, your eyes craning to allow you the last glimpse around the corner. You unclench your hands and release them into thunderous clapping. You realize that your throat has become scratchy and hoarse from cheering. Your ears fill with the sounds of applause and the drone of motorcycles as they vie for first place.
